Sexual Desire/Arousal Studies
Survey of motivations for sexual desire (MODERN)
The goal of this questionnaire study is to expand our understanding of the motivation of men and women in established relationships (minimum 5 yr cohabitation) to either initiate or be receptive to advances for sexual activity with their partner.
Entry criteria:
- Between the ages of 19-65
- Able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Lived with current partner for a minimum of 5 years

Group psychoeducational treatment for women with sexual arousal and desire difficulties (PED)
Women assessed with sexual arousal and desire disorders take part in four 90-minute group sessions where facilitators administer a psychoeducational intervention specific to the needs of these sexual complaints. Efficacy of the psychoeducation is measured with questionnaire and physiological arousal testing taken pre-treatment, two weeks after treatment and again at 6 months post treatment.

- Must be female, between the ages of 19-65
- Able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Currently experiencing sexual desire and/or arousal difficulties

Group PED for women with Multiple Sclerosis or Spinal Cord injury
(PED for women with disabilites)
Group Psychoeducational Treatment for Women With Multiple Sclerosis or Spinal Cord Injury Experiencing Sexual Arousal and Desire Difficulties Women who have been living with either Multiple Sclerosis or Spinal Cord Injury for more than one year and have sexual desire and/or arousal concerns take part in five 90-minute group sessions where facilitators administer a psychoeducational intervention specific to the needs of the sexual complaints with this population. Efficacy of the psychoeducation is measured with questionnaire and physiological arousal testing taken pre-treatment, two weeks after treatment.

- Must be female, between the ages of 19-65
- Able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Diagnosed with either Multiple Sclerosis or Spinal Cord Injury for more than one year
- Currently experiencing sexual desire and/or arousal difficulties
