More than by any other sexual problem - the elusiveness of orgasm, say, or pain during sex - women feel plagued by low desire.
The UBC Sexual Health Lab focuses on clinical and behavioural research in women's sexual health, issues in sexuality, and psycho-social oncology issues.
Our many research studies focus on diverse topics such as low sexual desire, the relationship between hormones and female sexual arousal, the experience of fear as a cancer patient, treatments for female sexual dysfunction, asexuality, as well as many other areas under the umbrella of human sexuality.
