Professor Geoffrey Cundiff
It is with excitement and anticipation that I assume the role of Department Head for Obstetrics & Gynaecology at UBC. Dr. Liston’s leadership over the past decade has created an environment in which our department and the faculty members who comprise it have flourished. Our educational endeavors; including the undergraduate curriculum, the residency program, the fellowship programs, and the graduate education program, are respected and highly desired training programs. Our investigational pursuits are broad-based, encompassing the breadth of the specialty and spanning the spectrum from basic, to translational, to clinical research. Our department provides excellent clinical care with exemplary collaboration across sites. There is much of which we should be proud, and our first goal will be to maintain the department’s direction and momentum.
